Simon Cooper is Professor and Research Director at Aston Law School. His specialism is property law. He was Affiliate Lecturer at Cambridge University, and has held Visiting Professorships at Stetson University and the Law Institute Jersey. He previously taught at Durham University, Cardiff University, Cayman Islands Law School and Oxford Brookes University. He held visiting research positions at Cambridge University and Wolfson College, Oxford. He currently sits on the editorial boards of the Caribbean Law Review and the British Journal of American Legal Studies. He is Fellow of the Cambridge Centre for Property Law and for several years was Convenor of the Property & Trusts Law section of the Society of Legal Scholars. He is called to the bar of New York.
